About Candle Reviews

The straight answer on any candle, before you buy it.

Candle Reviews is an independent database of the candles sold in the US. For every candle we bring together what the brand publishes (scent notes, sizes, stated burn time, wax and wick), today's price, and what buyers think: one Glow Score that blends Amazon ratings of the candle with Trustpilot ratings of the company, with every source shown.

What we do

• Collect each brand's catalog from its own website and refresh prices regularly, with the date we checked shown on every page.
• List every size with its price and the burn time the brand states, so a $13.99 three-wick and a $90 luxury candle sit side by side.
• Turn Amazon and Trustpilot ratings into one Glow Score, counting only sources with enough reviews and showing each with its date.
• Summarize what buyers say elsewhere in our own words, clearly labelled, without copying reviews.

What we don't do

• We don't sell placements. Brands can claim their page to correct facts, but they can never pay to change a score or a ranking.
• We don't test candles in a lab yet, and we never imply we did. Ratings come from buyers on Amazon and Trustpilot.
• We don't call a candle “toxic”, “safe” or a “scam”. We report what the brand discloses and what buyers report.
