The first cool Saturday in October, a window cracked, a sweater back out of the closet: that's the moment Spiced Pumpkin Latte's fans are waiting for. Voluspa launched it in the fall of 2020 and brings it back every year, and by late September Voluspa's own feed and a wave of TikTok Shop creators are lighting it for slow mornings. The more useful opinions sit further down, in reviews and comment threads.
A pumpkin that isn't a cupcake
Voluspa lists kabocha pumpkin, cinnamon spiced brûlée and coconut crema, with ginger, cardamom, clove and a little vanilla marshmallow in the brand's description. The most detailed review we found, from a candle YouTuber who first met it as a votive in a Sephora sampler and spent years working up to a big one, describes a creamier, more mature pumpkin spice than the usual. The kabocha reads like pumpkin crossed with sweet potato, the crema and marshmallow fold in like thick sweetened coconut cream, and the best part is the brûlée: cinnamon sugar torched until it caramelizes, deeper than plain sugar but not molasses. The spices stay in the background.
Even a blogger who admits sweet food candles aren't her thing found it less fake than most pumpkin candles, with barely any coffee, some caramel, nutmeg and a hint of cinnamon. Not everyone gets the spice, though. One Sephora reviewer calls it sweet rather than spicy.
How it fills a room
Throw reports are split, and size seems to matter. The YouTuber rated her 3-wick hearth a solid eight for both strength and throw, with an even pool about an inch deep by the third hour and only the odd wisp of smoke from a wick. The blogger could still smell her little tin in the room a full day after blowing it out. On the other side, one Reddit poster's 3-wick barely threw at all, and that was the end of their pumpkin experiment, and the Sephora reviewer also found it light.
Paying for pumpkin season
Seasonal scents carry a premium here. An 18 oz jar is $48, ten dollars over the usual core-line price, while the 5-wick hearth runs $275. Buyers work around it: Bloomingdale's sale codes stack, Amazon sellers sometimes list it above retail, and the YouTuber's plan is to grab a hearth at end-of-season clearance for next fall. Big sizes stretch, too. One TikTok owner has been burning the same giant jar through two autumns, packing it away each winter. On Amazon it sits at 4.1 stars from 236 reviews (Glow Score 8.2), toward the lower end for Voluspa. If you want it less sweet, Voluspa's own suggestion is to burn it alongside Santal Vanille.
